Konstantinos Risvas was born in Athens and lives in Nafpaktos. He graduated from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the National Technical University of Athens, with specializations in Electric Power Systems, Energy Conversion, Industry Applications and Bioengineering. His thesis was about simulating physiological conditions using Digital Tomosynthesis.

Because of his great interest in Biomedical Engineering, he participated in the BME MSc Program in the University of Patras and graduated in August 2020. His master thesis focused on modeling and simulation of the ACL reconstruction surgery using the Finite Elements Method (FEM).

Since July 2019 he works as a research assistant at the VVR group of University of Patras, with emphasis on modeling and simulation of musculoskeletal systems. Moreover, since March 2020 he started his PhD in computational biomechanics.
